Zane received his degree from Queensland University in 1976 before moving to Perth, where he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1977. Zane has experience in all aspects of general law. In 1987, he turned his speciality to Personal Injury Law, assisting clients with their motor vehicle, workers’ compensation and public liability claims. In his spare time, Zane enjoys spending time with family and travelling.

Michelle Antunovich

Michelle joined Trewin Norman in 2020 and following previous leadership roles at two national firms, took up a directorship from 1 July 2020. Michelle graduated from Murdoch University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After completing her honours thesis studying the “helping behaviour” of humans, she took time off to travel before starting her career in personal injury law. Michelle was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of WA in 2009 and to the High Court of Australia in 2011. She has worked on a wide range of personal injury claims since being admitted into practice, including catastrophic injury claims, fatal accident claims, motor vehicle and workplace injury claims, public liability claims, and claims for victims of crime. Michelle is a keen gardener and Dockers supporter, and when she isn’t working, you will probably find her wetting a line desperately trying to join the 1m dhu club.

In 2014, Alexis graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Health Science, with a double major in Psychology and Public Health. In 2015 Alexis was admitted into the Supreme Court of Western Australia and, in 2017, into the High Court of Australia. Alexis has worked at Trewin Norman & Co since February 2011 in all areas of personal injury but specialises in workers compensation claims, Workcover disputes, psychological injuries as well as superannuation claims. Alexis provides clear, comprehensive advice and strong advocacy to help injured workers navigate a stressful and complex legislative system. When not working, Alexis likes to spend time with her husband and two young children.

Rosie has worked in the legal industry since 2013 and has practised as a solicitor since 2020. She is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia. Rosie has assisted clients with a wide range of compensation claims, including workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident claims, public liability matters, institutional abuse claims and criminal injuries compensation applications.

Rosie is also Secretary of the Australian Lawyers Alliance (WA Branch) Committee and enjoys contributing to advocacy that promotes the rights and interests of injured people. When she’s not working, Rosie loves travelling, spending time at the beach with her dog and cheering on the Fremantle Dockers. Rosie understands that making a compensation claim can be stressful, unfamiliar and deeply personal. She takes a practical and compassionate approach, focusing on ensuring her clients understand the process, their options and what to expect along the way.

Personal Assistant

Janice has been working with Zane Norman for the past 39 years, after completing a work experience program with his law firm at the age of 16. She has worked as a receptionist and typist for many years and is now one of Zane’s most respected and trusted employees. Janice is the go-to person in the office, whether it’s to repair equipment or fill in for other staff who are on leave, making her an invaluable member of the team. When she’s not answering calls, preparing counsel briefs and filing court documents, Janice coaches under-12 netball, keeps fit at the gym every day and is a regular at the movies.
